A small consignment of American oranges arrived this week on a very keen market, and realised highest Values procured for a long while. The monthly consignment of Fiji bananas, via Auckland, arrived in very bad order indeed, although a portion railed from the northern port arrived in splendid order. 'Supplies of apples and pears are exceptionally heavy, with a consequently dull market. ■ • .Vegetables are in good demand.
