The current week's number of the | "N.Z. Spoiling and Dramatic Review" coii(ains a fine series of war views, taken on the various fronts. Unique pictures are shown of the French first line of trenches, while the operations of the brave little Montenegrin army in the Balkans are splendidly portrayed. "The Martyress Nurse," is the title of the first picture illustrating the death, of Nurse Cavell, painted by Mr. Felix Rosenstiel, and now creating great interest. The deconation by the King of Corporal Basscbt, V.G., and Corporal L. M. Shera, V.C., the arrival of wounded New Zealanders at Port Chalmers, and a further series of the Dominion's roll of-honour are of special interest. Raosgoers are well catered for, illustrations appearing of the Napier Park and; Ohinerauri meetings, while .the usual series of theatrical portraits complete a number of undoubted excellence.— Advt.,
