PATRIOTIC EXHIBITION
The secretary of the British Conimer- & cial and Industrial Patriotic Exhibition, which will be opened on Saturday, February 19, at the Town Hall, reports I that arrangements are well in. hand. A. I start will be made on Monday with the erection of tho stalls. - Mr. Doddrell, exhibits manager, has this branch of the work in band, and hopes to be able to hand tho stalls over to exhibitors on Wednesday,, that they may then proceed with the installation of their exhibits. Any exhibitor desirous of obtaining further information relative to his stall than that already supplied to him by tho committee in charge of tho Exhibition is requested to see Mr. Doddrell at the Town Hall on Monday. Only one stall is now unlet, and early application .'by an intending exhibitor should bo made if spa'co is desired. Tenders for the right to dispense re- c freshment during the time that the exhibition will be open to tho public have been invited, and .will close with the secretary at noon on Monday. Mr. R. AY. Dalton, who has just arrived from England to take Mr. \V. G. Wickham's place as H.M. Trado Commissioner for New Zealand, has received a number of requests from English houses carrying on business with the Dominion to" exhibit samples and particulars of their goods, and has accordingly taken up a stall at the Exhibition.
