THREE CHILDREN DROWNED
IN.THE LAKE AT RICCABTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, January 19. Yera, Olive, and Sam Mumford, aged 10, 7, and 6 years, respectively, were drowned in the lake at Riccarton racecourse this afternoon. They were paddling- and slipped over a shelf into about 9 feet of water. ;
