The Turks and Kurds, are massacring Assyrians and Christians. At Gerogtapa, all the inhabitants except two hundred were burned in a cliurch. Six refugees were dragged to the French mission station and executed, despite the tearful pleas of tho nuns. Gulphason was the last of 103 villages which were devastated by the Kurds, who marched the males, tied in groups of five, to their graveyards, where all wore barbarously murdered, while young women were enslaved. Twelve thousand Assyrians are taking refuse in the Caucasus. In all, twenty thousand are dead or missing.
