An arrival at Wanganni on Tuesday night was tho New Zealand Shipping Company's chartered steamer Mottisfont. Her next ports of call will be Nelson, Picton, Wellington. Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, and Napier. Sho will return here before Muling finally for London. The Tahiti will be dispatched from Port Chalmers to-morrow for Timaru, where she will load a large quantity of fodder, etc., before coming on to Wellington. A few days beforo Christmas tho schooner Rachel Cohen was placed on the slip at Carey's Bay, Dnnedin, for examination and overhaul, but work was suspended for the holiday®, and nothing further has been done to the vessel since. A telegram received from Grey mo nth yesterday stated that the Tutflnekci had left there for the West Coaet Sounds at BJS p.m. on Tuesday.
