Luke) referred to the fact that he had recently called on Mr. Trevor, and was pleased to be. able to say that he was improving. Councillor R. Fletcher, who has had to undergo a minor operation, was granted leave of absenoe from last night's meeting of the City 'Council, and the council expressed the hope that he would make a speedy recovery, from his illness.
