This morning tho Hon. J. A. Millar (Minister for Marino) will unveil a statue of industry, presented to tho Institute of Marino Engineers by Mr. F. Reddaway, of Manchester. A Lovin Press Association telegram states that Mrs. Peter Stewart, a NewZealand settler for sixty years, formerly resident of Uuuediu and Palnierston North, and for the Inst twenty years in Levin, died on Friday. Mr. W. C. Kensington, Under-Secre-tary for Lands, arrived iu Christehurch on Saturday from Wellinjiou.' He goes further south to-day. .
