AUCKLAND SCENE. (By Toleeraph—Prcas Association.) i Auckland, May 11, A-bolt, attended by-an , .amusing incident', occurred in the city this afternoon. A horse, attached to a spring cart, btrited while the driver was away, and faced along Customs Street. The horse turned into Queen Street, but had scarcely rounded the corner by the Thames Hotel when ho came to grief, colliding with a lorry. His legs got entangled with one of the wheels of the lorry, but, as soon as he was freed, he dashed into Messenger's tea-rooms, followed by a highly-amused crowd. The animal, though much frightened, was got out into the street without any trouble, and without causing any damage in the shop, .though a number of ladies who were taking tea were much frightened by the equine visitor.
