The final accounts of the Waihi Gold Mining Company, Ltd., for 1909 show a gross profit of £606,000, as against £558.000 for the previous year The sum of £57.000 for capital expenditure {as against £41,000 last year) ana £37,000 "for depreciation at the rate of. 10 per cent, (as against £36,000 last year) have- been .provided out of revenue, and in addition tlio sum of £40,000 bos been provided towards the new hydroelectric scheme. The directors recommend a bonus of 2s. per share be paid, making with the interim dividends already paid, a total distribution of 18s. per share, as against 17s. paid last year, absorbing £25,000 more tlian tho 1908 distribution; that £10.000 be carried to reserve (as against £20,000 last year) and tlfat £25.000 be carried forward, as against £28,000 last year. The meeting wili be held at the Cannon Street Hotel (London), on May 19.
