MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCE.
STILL POURING IN. ■ SYMPATHY, SOEBOW AHD LOTALTT Again yasterday a very largo number of additional messagos of condolence were received by the Government from various parts of the Dominion. From Mr. Sorensen, Consul for Denmark, Christchurch: "Permit mo on behalf of her Majesty's Danish subjects in 1 this express our deep ana hearty
felt sympathy and condolence to her Gracious Majesty Queen Alexandra in her sad bereavement and 6orrow."
From the Mayor of Masterton: "News of the decease of His Illustrious Majesty received in Masterton with profound grief and sympathy. Please convey these sentiments to his Excellency the Governor."
From the Town Clerk, Hutt: —''I am directed to forward you following resolution adopted last night: That the Lower Hutt Borough Council places on record its sense of the great loss sustained by the Empire by fcno death of his Majesty King Edward VlL*"
' "Women's Social and Political League begs to offer our deepest sympathy at loss of our King."
Prom the Chamber of Commerce, Palmers ton North: "We desire to express to Dominion Prime Minister our sympathy with and deep regret at the great national loss sustained by the Dominion and British Empire as a whole through the death of our beloved Sovereign, his late Majesty King Edward."
"Yachtsmen of Ofego Harbour wish to express their deep regret at the untimely death of King Edward."
"Independent Orders of Oddfellows, M.IL, desire to express deepest sympathy with the Eoyal Family."
"Jewish congregations of Canterbury tender our heartfelt sympathy on the .death of our beloved Sovereign."
