DEEP SEA ANGLING CLUB.
The; jirstv fully representative meeting of the Deep Sea Angling Club was Held last night at Reynolds's Sports Emporium, Willis Street, .Mr. A. A. S. Menteath (president) occupying the chair. After the routine business had been dealt with, the question of chartering a steamer .for next Sunday was discussed, and it was decided to procure the Duco, weather 1 permitting The l club, although in its infancy, can boast of a membership numbering about 100, and tlio only difficulty about the first trip will be that probably moro members than the steamer can accommodate will want to go.' The Duco will leave the Ferry AVharf at 7.45: a.m. on Sunday, and the club havo decided to supply the bait for this and futuro excursion",. The fishing ground to bo visited ; will.bo decided by vote on Sunday or, if earlier.
