WARNING TO PURCHASERS.
New Zealand peoplo have special reason to beware of tradesmen who offer them one thingwhen they ask for another. This is known as substitution, mid is usually- attempted- to secure greater profit. Well-advertised lines aro usually imitated. For instance, in a great many shops when .Dr. -Williams's -Pink Pills aro asked for, tho , salesman, at once brings something olse forward which ho says is "just as good," or "just the same." As tho formula of this remedy is known only to the makers, and it is tho prescription of a doctor-of high standing, tho statement on the faco of it is not true. Besides, who ever heard of these cheap imitations. doing anyone .any good. It's more expensivo to spend eighteen pence on a useless imitation, than three shillings on the genuine article.. It's an annoyanco to be pestered in this way by tradesmen, and there aro so many storekeepers nnd chemists who always give -their customers what they asl; for, that buyers aro foolish to continue dealing with those who try. to deceive ,thew. 73SS.
