PETONE RIFLE CLUB. The Petone liiflo Club started the second competition on Saturday with ■a- fair mustershooting ten shots at 200 and 500 yds. ' The weather was favourable, .but the, shooting was not up to.the average.

On. October 21 the first competition for the Wednesday squad will be held—ranges 200 and 500 yds., ten shots.
