Stronach Morris report:—« Fat Cattle. —There was a large yarding, 262 being penned, consisting pincipally of medium quality bullocks and a few trucks of prime beef. Competition was slack and prices were easier by from £1 to 25s per head on last sale's rates, Extra prime bullocks to ,£l4, prime to £i\ 15s, medium £7 to £S 10s, light from .£6 upwards, prime- cows and heifers to £&. medium £5 to £0 10s, light from £3 upwards. Fat Sheep—There was a fairly large entry, 3,362 being penned, consisting principally of medium to light weight ewes and a fair proportion of medium weight wethers, very lew heavy wethers being forward. Prices for prime wethers were from, par to a shade firmer. while medium weight ewes and wethers were slightly easier. Prime heavy wethers to ins, prime 13s to 15s Od. medium ys to 11s. light from 7s upwards, prime ewes to 12s, medium 7s to os, light from 3S. upwards Fat Lambs—There was a large entry, 2,144 being* penned, consisting of medium quality. Owing to the corgestion at the works one freezing buyor was not operating and prices vere if anything - , a shackt easier. E\tr.i prime lambs to 17s 3d, prime 13s 6d to 15s, medium ios to 11s 6d, light and unfinished from 7s upwards. Pigs—There was a large entry of fat pigs and prices were easier. Stores were on a par with late ruling rates.

Oats—Samples are now coming to hand freely and the market is a shade easier. Nominal values arc A grade Cartons up to 2s 3d, B grade 2s id on trucks, country sidings, according to railage.

Wheat—Millers are taking any lines suitable at full market rates. Fowl wheat meets' with fair inquiry at up to ss, ex truck, Dunedin. Potatoefc —Sufficient requirements are coming to hand for the local demand and prime tables are bringing up to £4, ex truck, Dunedin. Chaff—Fail- consignments are coming forward and the demand is confined to prime bright oaten sheaf, which is bringing up to £4 ss. ox store, Dunedin.

Sheepskins—We held our usual fortnightly sale on Tuesday, and offered a fair-sized catalogue to a good attendance of buyers. There was fair competition though prices all round were from ; ]d to id per lb less than those ruling at last sale, this being in sympathy with the drop in the London market. -J-b full-wools to J-b $- wools to 5Jd, : \-wools to 43d. fine x-b full-wools to =;d, J-wools to 4JI, J-wools to 4d, x-b full-wools to 4Jd.
