MORNING TONIC I'uK.e ii pint of hot water, squeeze into it the juice of one lemon, and season it with a ha If-spoonful of rait. Drink slowly half an hour before breakfast. This will clear a coated tongue, tone the stomach, and act directly upon a sluggish liver. This tonic, if kept up for three months, every alternate two weeks. will wonderfully clear the complexion. 1838.
