One of the best preparations for ■ cleansing- all kinds of material is i potato water. I The rule for preparing it is to take a pint of clean borax water, or soda water, and grate into it two large potatoes. Strain through course seive into a gallon of water —soft water —and Jet it settle. Pour the liquid from the sediment and it is ready for use. Hub the articles in i his. rinse several times in clean water-, and oresn under a cloth or p*|>er.
