LORD KITCHENER AND NATIVES.

Lord Kitchener lias inaugurated the new gigantic scheme of draining the extensive marshlands of the two provinces of Gharbiah and Behera, in Lower Egypt. "To-day we inaugurate a scheme which shall provide labor and sustenance to millions of fellaheen. The fatigues of our journey here have not been hi vain, by the grace of Allah, whose help and guidance for mc, for you, and for the good of Egypt I always implore."
