CAUCUS IN WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON, Juiia 4. Members of the Opposition have assembled in Wellington from aJI parte of Now Zealand. Twenty-five or 30 of the party are her© for tie caucus which was opened in Parliament Buildings. It is practically a full meeting of the party, because the members not present have been satisfactorily accounted for. Mr Massey (Leader of the Opposition) remarked during the luncheon adjournment that the caucus had work to keep it busy for more than one day. Ho might be in Wellington for several days, perhaps a week, lie was silent regarding the business of the conclave, but he said that his party waa as solid as a stone wall. It is gathered unofficially that the party is discussing, first, the terms of the no-coiifideuc* motion which will be proposed to the Addreea-in-Reply when Parliament meets, and, seoondly, the policy which the Opposition, if it is sue. oessful in reaching the Treasury benches, will put forward.
