BANANA WINE.

One of the very latest commercial products is banana wine. 'Hie new way of converting bananas into hard cash coines from Saigon, a French possession in the Far East. The product is obtained by the fermentation of the banana juice with yeast made from the fruit. It is claimed that banana wine is much cheaper than any other, and has the advantage of "a delicious perfume." The army of wine-bibbers is ever on the look-out for something new, for there are fashions in wines as in other things, and so the new beverage may catch 011. If so, the Fiji and Queensland drink of the future may be other than rum.
