THE HONGKONG PLAGUE.
Eighty-six persons died of the plague on Tuesday last week. The English soldiers are now being affected.
The death roll since the outbreak of the bubonic plague has reached 1900. The epidemic has created consternation in the town, and SO,OOO of the population have fled to others districts.
The Hongkong newspapers to hand at Sydney by the last mail give deplorable accounts of the ravages of the plogue, and contain graphic descriptions of the terrible scenes that have been witnessed.^
