The agreement on the part of the public, as decided on at the recent public meeting, has now been signed by 174 heads of families and others resident in Balclutha and neighbourhood, and will be published next week. .4 TgARLY CLOSING IN BALCLUTHA. We, the undersigned, horeby agree to abstain from doing business at any of the places of business in Balclutha after six o'clock on any evening excepting Saturday, and on that evening not later than kine o'clock.
