Net beef export prices for week beginning October 23, 1989 P.P.C.S./ Alliance Waitaki Riverlands C.F.M. Canty Pukeuri
1. The net beef export prices shown above in cents a kg carcase weight are calculated after adding in announced premiums and deducting all levies (e.g. F.F., Meat Board, and disease levies and preshipment charge). 2. To calculate the price for a different weight range than indicated above, use the table to find out how much to add or subtract; e.g. for a 250 kg steer take off 6c/kg. 3. Spot premiums above these announced export prices are sometimes paid. Allowance also has to be made for potential pool payments with some companies. 4. Changes: PPCS/CFM: M cow + lOc/kg; bull +sc/kg.
