Reprieve for shelter
A $lO,OOO grant has meant a reprieve for the Night Shelter for Women, run by the Y.W.C.A. The shelter had been threatened with closing due to lack of money, according to the Christchurch president of the Y.W.C.A., Mrs Margaret Arnold. Mrs Arnold said the grant, from the Trust Bank Canterbury Community Trust, would give the shelter time to arrange further funding
