NZPA London The New Zealand Youth cricket team made a solid start on the opening day of its two-day match against the Essex young cricketers at Chelmsford on Saturday. New Zealand bowled Essex out for 190, with the bulk of the wickets being shared by Michael Hart and the captain, David Mills. In, reply New Zealand was 126 for four at stumps with John Aitken having made 29. Scores — Essex 190 (J. Lewis 40; M. Hart 5-21, D. Mills 2-9) met New Zealand 126-4 (J- Aitken 29, G. Baker 26, C. Harris 26 not out).
