Norman wins golf

NZPA-AAP Sydney Australian Greg Norman fired one of the best drives of his career to set up his second victory in eight days in the sAustsoo,ooo Tournament Players’ Championship at Riverside Oaks yesterday.

Norman cracked a 280 m tee shot to within a metre of the pin on. the par four twelfth to set up an eagle, which gave him a two-stroke lead that guided him through his last six holes. His total score was 276. West Australian Roger Mackay was second (275) and Rodger Davis (Australia) and David De Long (U.S.) third oh 280. New Zealand’s Frank Nobilo finished with 282.
