WALKER, Leonard Washington (Len) — On February 24. 1989, at Burwood Hospice, dearly loved and loving husband of Ivy, dearest father of Janice, Leonle and Anne, respected father-in-law of Bruce Smith and. Bruce Dunstan, cherished granddad of Nicola, Julie and Karen, Kim and Ktrsty, loved greatgrandfather of Matthew Leonard, and good friend of Barrie; in his 77th year. So dearly loved. No flowers, by request. Donations in his memory to the Oncology Department, Christchurch Hospital, would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral service will be held In St Stephen’s Anglican Church, comer Shirley Road and Emmett Street, Shirley, This Day (Monday), at 1.30 p.m. John Rhlnd, Ltd, F.D.A.N.Z. (Inc.).
WARD, Norman William (Norm) (Reg. No. 62285 18th Army Troop, W.W. II) — On February 25, 1989 (peacefully at his home), dearly loved husband of Patricia (Pat), loved father and father-in-law of Lynette, Steve and Ann, Debbie and Bob Thorne, and loved grandfather of Cadel, Dylan, Regan, and Michele. All communications to Mrs P. Ward, R.D. 3, Rotorua. Relatives, friends and comrades are Invited to join with Norm's family at his Funeral service which will be held at the Joseph H. Gray Memorial Chapel, Rotorua, Tomorrow (Tuesday), at 1.30 p.m., and thereafter at the Rotorua Returned Servicemen’s Cemetery. Grays Rotorua Funeral Services, F.D.A.N.Z.
