Beef schedule
Net beef export prices for week beginning February 27, 1989
Price adjustments for different weight ranges
Notes: 1. The net beef export prices shown above in cents a kg carcase weight are calculated after deducting all levies (e.g. Works to port freight, F.F., Meat Board, disease, extra A.C.C. levy). 2. To calculate the price for a different weight range than indicated above, use the table to find out how much to add or subtract; e.g. for a 250 kg steer take off 6c/kg. 3. Spot premiums above these announced export prices are sometimes paid. Allowance also has to be made for potential pool payments with some companies. 4. Changes: Riverlands: Bull +sc/kg. PPCS/CFM: All prime grades of steer, heifer, cow +sc/kg; bull+ sc/kg.
