Boxing team named
PA Wellington Two members of the 1990 Commonwealth Games development squad have been named in the New Zealand boxing team to attend the Oceania championships in Tahiti, June 25 to July 2. The reigning national intermediate champions, Jason Eade (Southland) and Glen Hodgson (Feilding), were last evening selected to attend the tournament along with nine
seniors. Zealand team is:
Heavyweight: Jimmy Peau (Auckland). Light heavyweight: Raeli Raeli (Auckland), Saulo Pou (Western Fiordland). Middleweight: Brent Jackson (Wellington), Michael Bell (Canterbury). Light middleweight: Royce Ellis (Canterbury). Light welterweight: Jason Eade (Southland), Nuka Wood (Whangaroa). Lightweight: Johnny Wallace (Hutt Valley), Neil Gillies (Central North Island). Light flyweight: Glen Hodgson (Folding). H
