Federation to send delegates
The Ice Racing Federation of New Zealand will be represented for the first time at the International Skating Union’s congress in Switzerland in June. The national federation will send its president, Pam Gray, and its vice-president, Kelvin Nicolle (both Christchurch) to the international meeting. New Zealand’s delegates will be pushing for the inclusion of small-track racing as a full Olympic sport at the next Winter Games in France.
