Two badly hurt

Two people suffered serious injuries when two cars collided at the corner of Ferry Road and Barbadoes Street just after midday yesterday. Six people were taken to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance, three with minor injuries.

A boy suffered serious head and leg injuries and a woman had serious neck and head injuries. A girl suffered a moderate to serious head injury. Their names and conditions were unavailable last evening.
