Mrs Jean Woods and the rock garden which won this year’s rock garden section in the Canterbury Horticultural Society’s spring garden competitions. The rock garden contains alpine plants from throughout the world and takes up much of the Yaldhurst Road property of Mrs Woods and her husband, Morris. This is the second time Mr and Mrs Woods have won the M. J. Barnett Challenge Trophy.
