PA Wellington Listed horticultural developer, Horner Greenlees Corp., has raised $l.B million from investors for the development of a new kiwifruit orchard near Te Puke.

Dominion Park, a 20ha kiwifruit and nashi orchard, closed over-sub-scribed at the end of September, a company spokesman, Ross Jenkins, said yesterday.

The larger investor was

targeted with the company offering 18 units of $lOO,OOO each. After borrowings, $2.3 million would be invested in the orchard, Mr Jenkins said. The Dominion Park project follows the company’s Fruit Force kiwifruit investment, which also closed over-sub-scribed earlier this year.
