Awapuni track will suit She’ll Pass

Special correspondent Wellington The Pass the Bottle mare. Shell Pass, is expected to continue her good run of form when she contests the Eric Temperton Memorial Handicap at the Manawatu Racing Club’s meeting at Awapuni today. She’ll Pass has only had three starts since returning to racing from a spell but she quickly found form when winning her second race at Awapuni on September 19, producing a powerful finish to win effortlessly by two and a half lengths. She was subsequently beaten by a nose by Kuridala at Otaki on September 26 after having difficulty working into the clear. She finished powerfully and only just failed to take the honours. She’ll Pass will be suited to the roomy Awapuni track and in spite of her topweight of 56kg she should take some heading off. Reinvest has shown Improvement this term with two wins from three races. His
