With rhythm
The fourth annual RePercussion concert will be on stage at the Great Hall in the Arts Centre on October 16. The first demonstration concert was organised by Tom Williams to introduce Christchurch music listeners to the wide range of percussion instruments.
The concert proved so popular that it has become an annual event Mr Willaims believes
the Re-Percussion concerts are the only opportunity in New Zealand to hear such percussion music.
The concert on October 16 will feature the Christchurch Percussion Ensemble and many performers. Instruments played will include the popular West Indian steel drums.
The concert will start at 8 p.m.
