Three share prize
PA Wellington Three persons shared Lotto’s first division prize last Saturday, each winning $184,743. A Hokitika family struck first-time luck with a lucky dip. Having never played Lotto before, they had to telephone relatives to find out what the six numbers in a row on their ticket meant. They will use their win to pay off their house
mortgage. A Samoan woman at Morningside, Auckland, was overcome as her chosen numbers came up. They represented the numbers of favourite chapters and verses from an old family Bible. Her win means her dream of sharing Christmas with her family in Samoa will now come true. The third winner has yet to be located. .
