Davis wins snooker
NZPA-AFP Stoke-on-Trent England’s Steve Davis won the £200,000 Fidelity Snooker International at Trantham Gardens here yesterday when he swept - to a 12-5 victory over Canada’s Cliff Thorburn
in the best of 23 frame’ final. Davis went into the second day 8-5 up and quickly : finished it off by taking the first four frames .of .ttp, session.
