Suspended
PA Invercargill Gavan Hamilton was suspended from driving at the Invercargill Trotting Club’s meeting at Ascot Park on Saturday. Hamilton, the driver of Terrace Chip in the Globe Exports Handicap, was found guilty of careless driving, and his horseman’s licence was suspended up to and including October 24. Terrace Chip, fourth to finish, was relegated to seventh for interference to Admiral Star and Auburn Chip with about 200 metres to run. Craig Legat, the trainer of Classic Supreme (Arrowtown Mobile Pace), was fined $lOO for the use of faulty gear.
