Faster Compaqs
Compaq Computer Corporation intends to introduce faster versions of its top-of-the-line portable and desktop machines. This is the first update since IBM introduced its new PC line. The 80386 machines will use a new chip that will run about 25 per cent faster, but they will not adopt the micro channel, the most notable of IBM’s PC innovations.
