Sir,—The kIM h«ad; Brigadier Lindsay Smith, would serve his nation and his .unit better if he gave the rest of us more details about the Internal and foreign threats to our security. The alternative is a daily check under our beds. Who knows what we might find — perhaps a dusty colonel plotting the overthrow of the Rugby Union. If we knew our enemies, we could keep an eye out for them, be they crafty communists, tricky trade unionists, fanatical fundamentalists, nefarious Nazis or ruthless radicals. — Yours, etc., R. W. L.
