Funboard sailing
NZPA-AP Skanor, Sweden England’s David Perks and Barbara Kendall of New Zealand captured the individual titles while the host nation Sweden took the team competition in the world amateur funboard sailing championships here. Perks finished the
men’s division ahead of Sweden’s Arto Kantojarvi and Erik Thieme of France. The top three finishers gained automatic berths in the professional World Cup circuit. . Lisa Neuburger of the U.S. Virgin Islands was second in the women’s event with Clare Seeger of England finishing third. ( IT
