The Canterbury under-18 team made a fine start to its season by beating the Canterbury under-17 side, 6-1, at Halswell Domain last Sunday. Although taking time to find their form, the older players gained a one-goal lead before half-time and added five more in the second spell. It drew the pairs, and took the singles, 5-3. But
