PA Auckland A Manurewa man has mortgaged his house to pay back $20,280 after he helped steal 15,000 kg of nuts. In the District Court at Otahuhu,. home, wanting to put the theft behind him. He pointed out that Prouse stopped stealing the nuts .in April, last year, “realising he was doing the wrong thing.” Judge Hall sentenced Prouse to eight months periodic detention and ordered the money be, paid in a lump sum.
