The day in Parliament
PA Wellington The . Leader of the House, Mr Palmer, moved that Parliament adjourn as a mark of respect to the late member for Kaimai, Mr Bruce Townshend, when it sat at 2 p.m. yesterday. Members then paid tribute to Mr Townshend , before standing for a few minutes in silence.
The House rose at 3.28 p.m.
