Scrub and car fires
Christchurch firefighters were called out to two incidents last evening — a small scrub fire on Balmoral Hill and a car fire in St Albans. The scrub fire started about 10 p.m. and required three engines to bring it under control. Several tree stumps had been burned off during the day and left smouldering.
