FISHING INDUSTRY BOARD seeks to appoint a Home Economist for the N.Z. Market Section, whose role is to increase the awareness and consumption of seafood in N.Z. The Home Economist is involved in organising demonstrations, seminars and promotions to seafood retailers, schools, tertiary institutions, the restaurant and catering trade and the general public. The position also involves recipe development, literature preparation and production. A relevant tertiary qualification and experience as a teacher, dietitian or food marketer are considered pre-requisites.
