Two drivers suspended

PA Greymouth Two drivers had their horsemen’s licences suspended after racing at the Greymouth Trotting Club’s meeting on Monday evening. Wally Forsyth, who drove High Fancy in the David Rossiter Handicap, was suspended up to and including November 3 after he was found guilty of careless driving. The video replay showed Forsyth had allowed his charge to climb into the sulky of the horse in front of him. Murray Edmonds, who drove Gee Dee in the Cobb and Co. Handicap, was suspended up to and including Friday. Evidence showed that Edmonds had allowed Gee Dee to move in and hit Reb’s Star, causing that horse to break.
