Canterbury women for coaching
Fourteen Canterbury players have bee.- chosen by the New Zealand women’s cricket selectors. Trish .McKelvey. Denise Craig and Janice Stead, to attend a coaching course at Palmerston North this week-end. A total of 37 players have been named for the course, to be directed by Hugh Lawrence. The Canterbury players are:

Canterbury women's team this season. The team will defend the national title, which it has won for the last eight years, at the national tournament in Palmerston North. After the tournament, to start on December 27, a New Zealand team will be chosen to meet Australia in a series of three one-day matches for the Shell Rosebow! Trophy in Perth in January.
