Euro-Nat in big head hunt
NZPA-AAP Sydney The fast-growing New Zealand-controlled merchant bank, Euro-Natidnal Australia, Ltd, has made the largest corporate head-hunting raid in Australia by snatching the core of Capel Court Corporation, Ltd’s, capital markets staff. About 13 of Capel’s key staff are believed to have opted for Mr Rod Petricevic’s Euro-National group following Capel Court executive, Mr Jim Dawson’s defection last week. Mr Petricevic admits he feels a little guilty about the raid on Capel Court but defends his action by saying he has given some key people in Australia’s expanding financial services industry the opportunity to participate in a company on the move. Euro-National Australia was formed last year out of the Bestobeli Australia, Ltd, shell company and was transformed into a merchant bank under the guidance of its New Zealand parent Euro-National Corporation, Ltd.
