Junk plus hot dog equals delicious profit
The “hot dog woman” of Palmerston North features on tonight’s “Money-Go-Round,” the final in this series screening at 8.30 on One. The woman, one of the runners-up in the Air New Zealand Enterprises Awards, has managed to turn a piece of old junk she found in the tip into a profitable business — “and a delicious one,” says the “Money-Go-Round” producer, Diane Gilliam-Knight. Tonight’s show also looks at how to save hundreds of dollars by buying
an appliance the right way. “The same appliance bought five different ways can mean .hundreds of dollars difference in the price,” says GilliamKnight. Finally, “Money-Go-Round” looks at a unique way of doing all your banking from home. Replacing “Money-Go-Round” in this 8.30 p.m. Wednesday slot next week will be the Christchurchbased science and technology show, “Fast Forward.”
